I'm a tea drinker. I've always been a tea drinker, and if you're reading this, you probably are too. And when I say "tea", I mean the kind that comes from a plant and not some sort of weird herbal supplement. Tea is great for your body and makes me feel like a million bucks every morning. So today we're going to talk about 5 different types of tea (green, oolong, white, black and yerba mate) so that next time you're at the grocery store or farmer's market buying some delicious produce (or maybe just grabbing some candy off the shelf), consider picking up something new!
Green Tea
Green tea is one of the most popular types of tea, and for good reason. It has been shown to have many health benefits, including helping with weight loss, lowering blood pressure and cholesterol levels, improving brain function, reducing inflammation in the body (especially in arthritis sufferers), and even fighting cancer cells.
The antioxidants found in green tea help fight free radicals that can cause damage to cells within the body. Free radicals can also contribute towards aging—by protecting our bodies from them we not only look younger but feel younger as well!
Oolong tea
Oolong tea is a type of tea that is partially oxidized. It was originally produced in the Fujian province of China and has since spread throughout Asia, where it has become an important part of many countries' cultures.
Oolong teas can range from floral to fruity and are typically brewed at high temperatures to bring out their fullest flavor. They're also full of antioxidants and other health benefits!

White tea
