This is a great exercise for building up the triceps, but it also works other muscles in the body too. Lie down on an inclined bench or a chair. Hold your body weight in front of you with your hands placed just above your hips. Bend both elbows at 90 degrees and lower your body until they are parallel to the floor (or as close as possible). Then push back up using only your arms. Repeat 15-20 times before changing sides.



This is another classic bodyweight exercise that works the chest and triceps muscles at the same time. Push ups work well because they require no equipment or space, and they are easy to learn if you haven't done them before! To perform a push-up, lie face down on the ground with your hands directly under your shoulders and feet together on the floor, toes pointed slightly outward. Hold this position for one second then bend at the elbows and lower yourself until your chest reaches about 2 inches from the floor – don't let it touch!
